In depth guide to everything on Panopedia

Payments and Checkout

We use Braintree Payments as our primary payment gateway. To enhance your account security, all communications are securely encrypted using SSL, and your account passwords are encrypted as well. You should never share your Panopedia account password with anyone.

Braintree, a division of PayPal, is a company based in Chicago that specializes in mobile and web payment systems for e-commerce companies. The company was acquired by PayPal on September 26, 2013.

For more information, you may visit Braintree Payments.

Secure Checkout Form

All payments and checkout processes on Panopedia uses Braintree's secure checkout form. All payments require a valid Credit/Debit card or a valid PayPal account.

To use our checkout form for credit cards, choose Card.

You are required to fill in your:

  1. Cardholder Name
  2. Credit Card Number
  3. Card Expiry Date
  4. CVV Code

Your card information will then be securely stored in Braintree's vault, which Panopedia has no access to.

On future purchases, you will be able to delete any existing stored cards by clicking on the edit link, followed by a confirmation.

Payments by PayPal

You may perform payments using PayPal on the checkout form, where you will be directed to PayPal's website to complete the process. Follow the instructions to confirm your purchase.

Cheque/Cash

Panopedia discourages use of cheque and cash to make payments for purchases, as clearing and handling time may impact your renewals as well as purchases. If you wish to use these payment methods, please let us know at billing@panopedia.com.
